This book literally made me snort-laugh.  Ms. Dineen's gift for her way with words is something I really admire.  Be ready for a book to make you laugh repeatedly and put you in a great mood.

Connie's Favorite Books

This page is dedicated to my favorite books, most of them Independently published or published by a small press.  Yes, I definitely read other books that are traditionally published by the golden publishing companies and I definitely have my favorites, such as Colleen Hoover, Sophie Kinsella and Robyn Peterman, to name a few.  However, this is to get the word out about some of the smaller authors that you may not be aware of and may want to try!

As an Indie published writer, you are in charge of EVERYTHING, not just the writing, which is only the beginning.  When your book is done, there is editing and there are multiple types of editing (not just for grammar!).  There is formatting (and each type of digital book has a different format!), distribution and promotion.  We are in charge of it ALL!

Here is the list of books I loved that I would encourage you to give a try!  I am including only the ones with 5 Stars at this time.

If you do read any of these, PLEASE leave a review on Amazon, GoodReads, iTunes and wherever else you want!.

Happy reading!

This book was outside of my normal chick lit.  It was a thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat as I read it.  This version includes the first two books in the series and I highly recommend it.  Get ready to read about terrorism, nano-bots and other things that will have you scared to go to bed at night.

Amy Lynch's debut novel

This book was fun, outrageous and had me laughing all the way.  Find out what happens when someone plans a wedding without a proposal.  You won't regret it.
